  • Email Address: This is the only unique identifier we use. We need it to send you alerts and to verify your identity via "Magic Links" when you manage your subscription.
  • Payment Information: We do not store your credit card details. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We only retain a customer reference ID to manage your subscription status.

Usage Information

  • Technical Logs: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) used strictly for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
  • Email Engagement: We may track if alert emails are delivered to ensure our system is working correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address strictly for:

  • Sending you immediate notifications when marathon ballots open.
  • Sending you a secure link to manage your subscription (cancel/update).
  • Sending transactional receipts (via Stripe).
  • Notifying you of material changes to our service.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the essential infrastructure providers required to run the app:

  • Stripe: To process payments and handle subscription billing.
  • Email Providers: To deliver the alerts to your inbox.
  • Database Provider: To securely store your subscription status.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights (e.g., preventing fraud).

4. Data Security

We prioritize security by eliminating common attack vectors:

  • No Passwords: We do not store passwords. Authentication is handled via secure email magic links, eliminating the risk of password leaks.
  • Minimal Storage: We do not store sensitive payment data on our servers.
  • Encryption: All data is transmitted via SSL/TLS encryption.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address and subscription status only for as long as you remain a subscriber. If you cancel your subscription, you may request full deletion of your data by contacting support.

You maintain full control over your data:

  • Access & Update: You can view your billing history or update your payment method via the "Manage Subscription" link on our website.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription instantly via the portal.
  • Deletion: You can request full data deletion by contacting us.

We use strictly necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (e.g., handling the secure payment session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
