Ballot, registration
- Ballot
Random draw
You apply during a fixed window and are drawn at random. Zegama-Aizkorri works this way. Applying on the first day is worth nothing more than applying on the last, but the window closes either way.
- Registration
First come, first served
Registration opens on a set day and places go until the race is full. The Mont-Blanc Marathon, the Jungfrau Marathon and the Broken Arrow Skyrace work this way. Mountain races cap their fields tightly, so the opening day is the whole game.
Don't diarise it.
Let us watch it.
Every window on this page, watched around the clock. Pick the races you care about, and the email lands on the day each one opens, with the link.
